A Brief History of the Boise Hive

Founded in 2014, the Boise Hive began as a grassroots effort to create a safe and supportive space for musicians and artists in our community. What started as a small, shared vision has grown into a vibrant nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering creativity, connection, and mental wellness.

Over the past decade, the Hive has become a haven for local talent, offering rehearsal rooms, recording studios, and a variety of workshops. But our mission goes beyond music. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by artists, our services include crucial mental health programs, ensuring that everyone who walks through our doors has the support they need to thrive.

As we celebrate our 10-year milestone, we look back with pride at the thousands of lives touched by the Hive. From the countless hours of music made to the community connections forged, the Boise Hive has become more than just a place to create – it’s a place to belong.
