Free Jam Space for Veterans
Boise Hive is honored to open its doors to veterans, offering a unique opportunity to engage in the healing power of music. Our dedicated space not only serves as a haven for creativity but also as a platform for connection and community among those who've served. The Boise Hive offers veterans a fully equipped musical space with instruments and equipment. Led by local veterans, our inclusive open jam sessions demonstrate music's unifying power. Open to all skill levels and genres, these sessions are free for veterans.
GI Jam: Acoustic Harmony
The GI Jam is a special program designed for lovers of acoustic music. Held in our welcoming Community Room, these sessions take place every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month from 2-6 pm. Starting January 2023, we're shifting to every 2nd and 4th Saturday from 1-5 pm, offering a perfect weekend retreat for music enthusiasts. Whether you're an acoustic aficionado or looking to try something new, the GI Jam is your stage.
Jam It Out: Weekly Music Gatherings
Our weekly Jam It Out sessions are the heartbeat of Boise Hive’s veteran programs. Every Friday from 6-9 pm, veterans across the Treasure Valley come together to share their favorite songs, both old and new.
