Questions & Answers
What's our vision?
The Boise Hive envisions a future where the creative community thrives in an environment of emotional well-being, and mental health challenges are addressed openly and effectively, eliminating self-harm risks among artists.
What kind of facilities do we have?
The Boise Hive is in the historical Custom Recording & Sound building on the Boise Bench. We have a community room, four studios/rehearsal space, multi media room, recording studio, snack bar, and more!
What's our operating hours?
Our normal operating hours are Monday - Friday 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM and Saturday - Sunday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM. These hours are subject to change as we are a volunteer operated facility!
What's our mission?
To prevent suicide in the music community. We offer counseling, education, referrals, and other mental health services for musicians. We provide resources and outreach through our alcohol and drug-free, all-age spaces.
Do you have on-site parking?
We have limited parking on site, on the street, and overflow parking available at the church across the street. We are located in a residential neighborhood, so we ask that you please respect our neighbors and avoid parking in front of their residences.
Do you offer tours of the facility?
We love it when people stop by to check out the space! We often have volunteers or staff on site that are more than happy to give you a tour. You can also reach out to set up an appointment!
